La Cigale is a Tuesday night institution.  Popular with students, backpackers, and backpacking students, this unassuming downtown bar has DJs spinning most nights, good drinks, and little space.  If you value personal space, get there early to grab a booth and hold on with both hands, or else be prepared to swim upstream all night.  Located just a couple bocks from Bahrein, we recommend making the La Cigale/Bahrein combo on a Tuesday.  No cover and French cocktail specials on Tues.
