Another Buenos Aires classic, Shamrock is pretty much like most college bars, which is why we like it.  Unpretentious and a bargain, Shamrock has happy hour every night from 7-12 with 2x1 beers, and half-price drinks.  Thurs.-Sat. a small nightclub opens downstairs with one of the better sound systems in town.  No cover for the bar upstairs.  Entrance to the basement is 15 for the guys and 10 for the girls, but the tickets are good for 3 beers for guys and 2 for the girls.
